The Knoles PTO is a group of parents and staff who meet to discuss what is happening at our school, in the school district and how we can help — such as volunteering, fundraising and offering ideas on ways to provide a better environment for our children's education.
The purpose of the PTO is to support and promote the educational and social welfare of the children of Knoles Elementary School and to promote understanding among parents, teachers, community members and school officials.
Here are some things PTO has funded in the past several years:

- Kindergarten Playground Equipment
- Teacher/Staff Lounge Remodel
- Aides for Kindergarten, reading, technology & library
- Teacher Stipends (money for classrooms)
- Family Reading Room (Book Drive)

- Carts for P.E.
- 2 sheds
- Die cut accessories
- Emergency Buckets
- Play equipment for each classroom
- 5 Dell Computers
- Jolly Phonics accessories
- Reads Naturally Program
- Camp Colton
- Breakfast & Lunch for Teachers on Conference Days
- 4 Picnic Tables
- 10 Laptop Mobile Carts
- and special requests throughout the year such as: reading week authors, Mastermind, Odyssey of the Mind, Masterpiece Art, field trips, strings and art easels.
- Register on this website to volunteer for 1 or several activities throughout the school year
- Attend 1 or several monthly PTO meetings - please see calendar for dates
- Read and keep the monthly newsletter - full of important dates and information on the happenings at Knoles
- Contribute to the AZ School Tax Credit supporting Knoles - you can make 1 or several payments during the year; please visit the office for further information
- Register at www.escrip.com your grocery loyalty club cards and debit/credit cards; Participating merchants will make contributions to Knoles, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered
- Clip and turn in to your teacher the 10¢ Box Tops from hundreds of your favorite products such as Cheerios®, Betty Crocker®, Juicy Juice®, Ziploc®, Kleenex®, Hefty® and more! You can also register at www.boxtopsforeducation.com to be informed of periodic bonus promotions.
- Any time you dine at Coco's Bakery & Restaurant, tell the cashier to put your receipt in the "Knoles Box" and we earn 3% of your total - 365 days a year
- Support our monthly (1st Wed) Sonic Night at the 4th St. location from 5-8pm and we earn 10% of your total
- Support our additional periodic Restaurant Nights at local restaurants - we'll update calendar as these are scheduled
- Purchase your Knoles Knight gear from Spirit Shop - generally at all PTO events
