What is the Knoles Elementary PTO

The Knoles PTO is a group of parents and staff who discuss what is happening at our school district, and how we can help — such as volunteering, fund raising and offering ideas on ways to provide better environment for our children's education.

The purpose of the PTO is to support and promote the educational and social welfare of the children of Knoles School and to promote understanding among parents, teachers, community members and school officials.

Where does the money from fund raising go?

Here are some things PTO has funded in the past several years:
• Kindergarten Playground Equipment
• Aides for Kindergarten, reading, technology & library
• Teacher Stipends (money for classrooms)
• Carts for P.E.
• 2 sheds
• Die cut accessories
• 5 Dell Computers
• Jolly Phonics accessories
• Reads Naturally Program
• Camp Colton
• 4 Picnic Tables
• and special requests throughout the year such as: reading week authors, Odyssey of the Mind, Masterpiece Art, field trips, strings and art easels.
